Ensuring food security is crucial for global food supply, economic development, and social stability. A recent study by Fujian Police College[1] examined food security in China using data from 29 provinces between 2016 and 2020. The study aimed to measure the efficiency of hunger eradication, food security, and nutritional improvement under varying rainfall conditions. It used innovative methods such as the Meta Entropy Two-Stage Dynamic Direction Distance Function (DDF) within an exogenous Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model.
